2011 Annual Meeting

Our Annual Members Meeting on January 28 took place at the beautiful Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach. We entertained a standing room only attendance who listen to Attorney Kenneth S. Direktor with the law fire Becker & Poliakoff. Mr. Direktor leads the firm's statewide Community Association Practice Group which includes over thirty attorneys throughout Florida. He personally represents communities from Miami to Vero Beach focusing on representation of condominium, homeowners and cooperative associations and country clubs. He is a regular speaker on the topics of collection of assessments, effective covenant enforcement, insurance, hurricane recovery, fiscal management, document drafting and other issues for community associations for the Community Associations Institute, for Florida Bar Continuing Legal Education Seminars and various civic Associations. He is an Adjunct Professor of law teaching community association law at Nova Law School.

The delegates unanimously voted for the 2011 Board of Directors slate.

We welcome Lew Crampton, Bruce Heyman, Bob Keats, Donald Singer, Ellen Tansey and Leo Wurtzel as new board members--congratulations to all!
