No Dampened Spirits Here! 52 Tennis Players went to the Nets, under threatening skies, the morning of February 11^th. ‘13’ games were played and completed before the “Gods” blessed us with rain showers.

However, under the canopy we gathered, players and guests, to enjoy hot dogs, beans, chili, potato chips, drinks, dessert and delightful camaraderie. A drawing was held for gift certificates donated by local restaurants; TooJay's, Taboo, Trevini, Cucina Dell’ Arte, Nick & Johnnies, E.R. Bradley’s, Testa’s, McCarthy’s and Café Cellini.

Our sincere thanks to everyone who participated and worked to make this event successful and fun filled: Phipps Tennis Staff, Assistant Director Rod Gardiner, Linda McDonald, Rebecca Miller and Bill Mazzone. Tennis Pro Dan Minic and assistants, who unfortunately were unable to play because of inclement weather. Palm Beach Daily News Joe Luciano, but especially to our Overseer and Head Chef Harold Epstein and assistants Donald Singer and John McDonald.
